Morel, after going viral, gets a job after expressing his need for stability

Morel is presented in the video as an Ivorian man whose clip quickly spreads across social media. The segment, described by the narrator as amusing, is also called “prophetic”: shortly after it is published, Morel becomes highly visible online.

But beyond the virality, the video highlights another aspect of his story. As his name circulates, clips are shared and he receives invitations, Morel explains that he wants to find a stable job. For him, popularity on TikTok is not a sufficient life plan.

A video that brings Morel recognition

The transcript indicates that Morel gains popularity following the video shown at the beginning of the content. In the days that follow, he is presented as one of the personalities of the moment in Côte d’Ivoire.

This exposure comes with several invitations. The narrator mentions invitations to galas, matches and major nightclub parties. People also post numerous videos featuring him, helping to sustain his presence on social media.

The content brings together several clips in which Morel engages in lively exchanges with other people. These sequences, marked by direct remarks and audience reactions, appear to contribute to his identification as a viral personality.

Fame does not replace a regular income

A few weeks after going viral, Morel speaks during a livestream. He says that he considers himself creative and talented, while stressing that he wants to work. His message is not about extending his online visibility indefinitely: above all, he is looking for a lasting situation.

He then asks anyone who knows people able to help him access employment to tell him about them. In his remarks, he specifically mentions the possibility of being referred to an association for people with disabilities or to any organization likely to offer him a stable position.

Morel stresses that TikTok is not, in his view, “a life” in the long term. He contrasts this activity with the idea of regular work, which would allow him to have stability and support his mother. The transcript thus reports a clear request: to turn temporary exposure into a concrete professional opportunity.

An appeal heard by a municipal government

Later in the video, the mayor of the municipality mentioned in the transcript responds to Morel’s appeal. He invites him to his offices and announces that a job will be offered to him.

One sequence shows the elected official asking his secretary general to prepare Morel’s hiring order. The moment is presented as the outcome of the request expressed by Morel during his livestream.

The video ultimately indicates that Morel gets a job at the municipal government. It also states that he would be responsible for handling files, without providing further details about his position, his exact duties or the terms of his recruitment.

A story centered on the search for stability

The story therefore does not stop at the entertaining nature of a viral moment. It emphasizes the gap between high digital visibility and the need, expressed by Morel himself, to obtain lasting professional activity.

In the transcript, his success on social media opens doors: invitations, shared videos and public recognition. However, Morel expresses a different priority. He wants to work and not depend exclusively on content posted on TikTok.

His recruitment by the municipal government is presented as a response to this request. The video sees it as the fulfillment of what the narrator describes as a “prophecy,” referring to the first clip and the rapid evolution of Morel’s situation.
